Every year the Massachusetts General Cancer Center honors one hundred individuals or groups who are changing the way we see cancer. It's both a movement and a gala event called the 100.

The MGHCC team tasked with communicating the effort wanted a brand structure that identified the five categories of nominees (Volunteer, Advocate, Researcher, Philanthropist and Caregiver) while being integrated into the hero brand.

Through the use of color, typography and imagery, I created a series of formats that highlighted each story while connecting the dots back to the broader initiative.

Funds raised through the one hundred support the Mass General Cancer Center, a leader in personalized medicine, early-detection technologies and innovative supportive care. Discoveries made at Mass General benefit cancer patients worldwide

The work that follows demonstrates how a simple approach to design and messaging can quickly communicate a complex value proposition.
